When you use FabricWise, we collect the information you provide directly, including your account details (name, email), photos of fabric and pattern pieces you upload or capture for analysis, garment photos used to generate tech packs, manufacturer measurement details you enter, and any messages you send through Support Center tickets.
Some features (such as pattern piece scanning and tech pack generation) let you use your device's camera to photograph fabric or garments directly in the app. We only access the camera when you tap to take a photo, and the resulting image is used solely to generate your analysis or tech pack. We do not access your camera in the background, and you can always choose to upload an existing photo instead.
We use the information you provide to generate fabric waste analyses, layout recommendations, tech packs, and dashboard insights; to maintain your project and analysis history; to respond to support requests; and to process subscription payments for premium features. We do not collect photos or personal information for any purpose beyond providing these features.
Uploaded and camera-captured fabric and garment images are processed using AI services to generate analysis results. Images are stored securely and are only accessible to your account.
When capturing a pattern piece photo, you'll see an optional, unchecked-by-default checkbox asking whether you'd like to allow FabricWise to use that photo to help improve our AI models. If you don't check this box, your photos are used only to generate your analysis and are never used for model training. If you do check it, that specific photo may additionally be used to help train and improve our fabric-analysis AI. You can change your mind on any future capture simply by leaving the box unchecked.
Subscription payments are processed by our payment provider. We store subscription status and billing identifiers necessary to manage your account, but we do not store your full payment card details.
We do not sell your personal information. Data is only shared with service providers (such as payment and AI processing providers) as needed to operate the app.
You can view, edit, or delete your analyses and projects at any time from within the app. You may also permanently delete your account from the Settings page, which removes your personal data from our systems.
